Current Projects
Period Cups &
She Rises Every Month
We want to empower young ladies to understand and embrace their menstrual cycles through the use of period cups, equipping them to stay in school, thrive with dignity, and know they are deeply cared for. Through this initiative, we remind them of their inherent worth, the love of Jesus, and His invitation to know Him personally as their source of hope and purpose.
Together, we aim to create a future where young women walk confidently in their identity, education, and faith.
We collaborated with Fielder Church to put together a curriculum, written in both English and Kiswahili called She Rises Every Month to equip female community leaders and mothers to teach girls about their God-designed biology and to walk them through what it means to find their identity in Christ.
The She Rises Every Month events give our team opportunity to share the gospel and the Lord has brought much fruit out of these events.
However, there is a growing need for period cups and the She Rises Every Month printed pamphlets so that more and more young women can be provided for and can hear the gospel.
If this project is something you are passionate, we want to encourage you to consider giving to fund the purchase of the period cups and pamphlets for the furthering of this Kingdom work.
Literacy
Training
As we share the gospel and women surrender to Christ, we want to empower women to read and understand the Scriptures for themselves. We believe this is a fundamental part of becoming a disciple and making disciples. We are working towards equipping literate women in villages to be able to teach women in their own communities to read.
If this project is something you are passionate, we want to encourage you to consider giving to fund the project of literacy training for the furthering of this Kingdom work.
Economic
Empowerment
We are working towards solutioning with women to find an area of business in which they can grow and implement sustainable business practices. We believe this is a way for women to not only avoid feeling stuck in their economic state, but to also find ways to give back to their own community economically.
If this project is something you are passionate, we want to encourage you to consider giving to She Stands Kenya to allow this project to get off the ground.
