A Cup of Dignity, A Door to the Gospel – June Outreach Recap
In June, something beautiful happened. More than one hundred menstrual cups were distributed through the She Stands Kenya initiative, and with each one came not only a practical solution but dignity, hope, and the Gospel.
Gospel Movement
The outreach was met with joy, not only from the young girls receiving the cups but from their mothers and grandmothers too. Their relief was evident—relief that their daughters would now have safer, healthier ways to manage their periods. The burden of missing school during menstruation, using unsafe materials, or engaging in transactional sex to access pads is slowly being lifted.
With each cup handed out, a barrier was torn down. These period cups are doing more than managing menstruation—they’re creating movement. They have sparked over 100 gospel conversations. Women are gathering in small discipleship groups, encouraging one another in faith, sharing their stories, and being discipled to become disciple-makers.
Transformation
This is what transformation looks like: physical help leading to spiritual growth. We are deeply grateful to every person who gave your support has touched not only a girl but her home, her church, and her community. You are a part of a bigger story—one that is changing generations.
Thank you for standing with us. The cup is more than a product. It is a vessel of dignity, restoration, and the Good News.
